Begin Again Korea

On August 10th, a popular TV program, Begin Again, went off the air. Begin Again is a TV program where Korean singers go abroad and try busking. Due to COVID-19 and the travel restrictions, they only did it in Korea.

 

Their purpose was interesting. Singers went to Incheon International Airport or Daegu, where many suffered from COVID-19. They busked there to heal people’s tired daily lives with their songs.

 

They also tried to select only a small number of people who applied to be an audience and thoroughly follow quarantine rules. All those who were chosen to watch the busking were also people who were suffering from COVID-19.

 

Some merchants had difficulties in selling vegetables. A couple who had a wedding but could not go on their honeymoon was on the program.

 

Viewers who watched it from home also praised the content and atmosphere of the program. They said, “I feel like I’m also being healed” and “I could forget about COVID-19 for a moment.”

 

As such, Begin-Again ended in great success with the public’s praise.
