Unfortunately, the number of abandoned dogs and also companion animals are increasing every year.  According to the Korean Animal Protection Management System managed by the Ministry of Agriculture, last year, 128,678 abandoned animals were lost in Korea. The number decreased by 4,827 (3.6%) from 133,505 in 2019, but it’s still a huge number.
