China's Suppression of Uyghurs

This issue is because there is an atmosphere that China is trying to suppress minorities or Uyghurs, by putting forward a single Chinese policy. There are many stories about human rights violations of the Uighurs. The Uighurs are among the 56 officially recognized ethnic minorities by the Chinese government, mainly Turkish.  Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region is located in the northwest of China. It is home to about 11 million Uighurs in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region.
