Have you ever eaten spicy food? 


Maybe if you are Korean, you will eat spicy food that is made in Korea like jjigae, buldak, kimchi etc. 


Korean people love spicy food more than people from other countries. 



What happens while eating spicy food?


It can relieve our stress. When we eat spicy food containing capsaicin, We will increase our endorphins. When we eat spicy food, it stimulates the membrane of the mouth. Then the sense of pain triggers our brain to secrete endorphins. 


Also,  it can help us lose weight. spicy food speeds up our metabolism, allowing us to burn calories faster. 



Koreans stress of the present


The stress problem in Korea is a national problem. 


Most know that Korea's suicide rate is higher than other countries. 


Many students are stressed by studying. This is due to most of them having to take the Suneung, Also, they experience so much competition and pressure. 


Many workers feel depressed for so many reasons like raises, coworkers, a sense of loss about their job etc.


Koreans have a lot of daily stress, so they need to get out of their small stress or big stress. 


Spicy food has many beneficial effects. Among them, relieving stress is good for Koreans mentally.  Spicy food can relieve their stress. Therefore they feel refreshed like sweat and good taste when they eat spicy food. Most people use spicy food as a painkiller for stress.

 Young people recognize spicy food as a trend after watching videos or seeing social media posts.


The buldak challenge is where people upload videos of themselves eating a full bowl of buldak. It is a Korean noodle dish that is very. It is very addictive.  


Many young people love exploration and challenge. 


And they have more challenges. It is a one-chip challenge. One Chip is a really spicy chip, even the color is black. 


The challenge rules are that they have to endure the pain of being spicy for around 5 minutes after eating a One Chip.


Most people are in pain, crying and sweating. 


This challenge can look painful and reckless. But challengers feel refreshed and get achievements.
