SAWL FC: Most Fascinating Sports Club in SAWL

On July 12th, during the 8th-period self-study, the last match of SAWL FC (Suwon Academy of World Language Football Club) in the first semester was held.

The July 12th game was meaningful because members could finish their four-month-long journey successfully. Players did their best with their wonderful passion despite the heavy rainfall.

This built the expectation that SAWL FC was going to run briskly in the second semester, too.

What Is SAWL FC?

SAWL FC, the biggest sports club in SAWL, is a popular football club that has continued since last year. This club currently consists of 8 first-graders and 17 second-graders. They participate in the club more freely than other clubs. Club members could join or quit the club easily, and anyone who loves football has the qualification to join this club.

Last year, club activities were unstructured, starting this year, the club began to organized more than last year. An official Instagram was opened, and the vote system that determines who participates in the match improved.

The club activities are divided into two divisions. One is the lunchtime division, and the other is the 8th-period division. The lunch break division is unofficial in which non-member players also participate, and lots of fans, especially first-grade girls come to watch these matches.

The 8th-period matches are part of the official division, which is held without spectators. Club members are divided into two teams and wear different uniforms. Players participate in the match more seriously, and the score is recorded more officially, so the quality of the match is far better than lunch matches. However, this match ceases during the exam period due to student complaints.

Key Players

There are two representative combinations in this club, which are called The Three Idiots and No Noah Jun Jun.

The Three Idiots’ play styles were individual at first, however, they practiced passing a lot. They always show awesome harmony in attack now.

No Noah Jun Jun was formed to oppose The Three Idiots. No Noah Jun Jun complements each other’s lack of abilities such as shooting, trapping and dribbling.

As both groups are in charge of the main attack line for each team, and most goals are made by them, these two combinations usually become critical when dividing into teams.
