Golden Experiences

Currently, COVID-19 has
banned people from going out and socializing with others. Nevertheless, even in
this situation, people are pursuing happiness in their own ways. Therefore,
amazing things are still happening in the world.
The United Kingdom
During the lockdown in Britain, an amusing incident happened with a cleaner. The library building cleaners had to clean all of the tables, desks, shelves and bookcases. In Suffolk, the New Market Library staff found it interesting to see that their books were arranged in book size order rather than by topic and book number.
James
Powell, who works at the library, said, “They will have enough time to organize
the books because the library is likely to be closed for the time being.”
More
than 5,000 Twitter posts were shared the New Market Library tweet and incident
about the enthusiastic cleaner.
Banksy,
who unveiled his “Toilet” work during the lockdown, thought the cleaner is a
wonderful person who did a good job at the library. He thought it was an
unintentional mistake, so we do not want the cleaner to feel sorry for it.
The United States
With
the prolonged global pandemic, U.S. consumers are increasing their
discretionary spending to find comfort and enjoyment.
According
to a KOTRA report, U.S. consumers were hoarding daily necessities and focusing
on basic living expenses in the spring. They are now changing their spending
patterns to find enjoyment in their longer indoor lives.
Amazon’s
bestsellers in the field of small kitchen appliances were a whisker and
sandwich maker. This is because more people are cooking at home since they
cannot go to restaurants.
Adopting
pets or the existing pet population has also increased the purchase of pet
products. Some pet owners have expanded their purchases out of fear that dog or
cat food and snacks may run out, a report showed. For example, Chewy’s sales, a
leading pet food company, grew 35 percent in the first quarter.
Russia
In Russia, people were laughing by dyeing their hair with a unique tool. People used very long tools to minimize contact between them. Also, they wore black masks to prevent infection. It has not been verified whether the tool is effective, but it has given many a laugh.
